  Military and Veterans receive discounts on Mondays. This is good, but what really set this visit apart from all of the other times that I have eaten at HomeTown Buffet is learning that a customer can request food to order.
  
  I, casually spoke to my waitress who's name is Kimberley, about wanting to contact the corporate office about having a food island that has food cooked more on the well done side. At this point, Kim informed me that I can place an order to have my chicken cooked for more time.
  
  Thanks to Kim, I was able to eat chicken the way I like it, for the first time in a buffet. Additionally there is not a need to take an extra step to contact the corporate office, just to get food cooked the way it like it.
  
  Kimberley, demonstrated Management qualities by thoroughly explaining what my options were when it comes to ordering food the way that I like it. Kim, further explained that when it's extremely busy the wait may be a very long time in order to receive the food that I make a special order for, which is very good to take into consideration when eating at a buffet and wanting the food your way.
